Introduction
Greetings and welcome to the non-competitive fixture between the English side and China at Wembley Stadium. This promises to be an exciting contest with the current Euro titleholders competing against the reigning Asia Cup winners.
England’s national stadium is fully booked for the event, which will see Fran Kirby celebrated pre-match after her retirement from the national team before the Euro tournament this past summer.
Squad announcements will be shared imminently, but there was a late squad update for England. On Friday, the goalkeeper Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a slight knock, and so ex-first choice Ellie Roebuck has been added to the squad.
With Hannah Hampton out of action, it will be intriguing to observe who England manager Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. That news and all the other updates are on the way before kick-off at 5.30pm GMT.
