"Everybody knows why he went down," Farke commented

"This isn't the obvious issue. Why he went down it was obvious. It is within the rules. It is smart. If I like it? If it's within the sense of sportsmanship? If it ought to be like this I will keep to myself. It is up to the authorities to determine a resolution"

"I ask the assistant referee at this moment if you wish to take action. Our hands are tied"

Talking to television pundits, Phil Foden, said that his team were only capable to regroup after Pep Guardiola's touchline meeting with his squad

"During the break we were in command. After halftime they came out, harried us a lot more aggressively, they put two up top and changed the formation a little bit," commented Phil Foden

"To show such a display should give us plenty of confidence. If we show such spirit and unity we have a great opportunity to earn the results," Farke continued

"We had the belief before the match, throughout the game and after the encounter. Or else you cannot respond with a performance like that. We have strong unity and fighting spirit in the locker room"
