'Our Mission Is Exclusively Eliminating' - How Sudan's Brutal Militia Perpetrated a Massacre

The men are exulting in a mass killing that humanitarian officials believe killed over thousands of civilians in the African urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.
A City Isolated from the Globe
Having held the community under encirclement for nearly two years, from August the militia proceeded to reinforce its control and prevent access for the surviving civilian population.
Orbital photography demonstrate that fighters started to construct a enormous berm - a raised dirt embankment - encircling the edges of el-Fasher, blocking access routes and preventing humanitarian assistance.
