In the intensely contested world of video games, it's typical for fresh competitors to fade away as rapidly as they enter the stage.
Yet the latest Battlefield is aiming to change that.
Here comes the latest entry in a long-standing military shooter series commonly framed as a more authentic answer to Call of Duty.
This game has seldom been able to equal its top competitor in regards of revenue or user base, but there are signs the recent entry could reduce the distance.
A preview session giving gamers a chance to test the title in recent months set new benchmarks, and the excitement leading up to its release has been immense.
Yet the endeavor is still a major gamble for developer the gaming giant, which has allegedly invested vast amounts of funds developing it.
Reporters have communicated to some of the makers to find out how they aim it will pay off.
Creation Team and Company Collaboration
Several development houses are working on the game under the collaborative umbrella.

The UK studio design director Fas Salim is the individual responsible for "guaranteeing those levels are as fun and compelling as can be for the players."
In spite of allegations that the scale of the title had challenged the multiple developers working together globally to develop the title, the director is upbeat about the endeavor.
"Collaborating with different backgrounds, different heritages, it's a truly interesting atmosphere to be part of daily," he says.
"The complete strategy has been something new but also really exciting because we are partnering with team members from all over the world."
Concerning the anticipation on the team, he says: "We feel demand but at the same time it's motivating.
"It's a large venture. It's arguably the most significant that many of us have ever worked on."
New Artist Contributes New View
